Hockerhill

Identity + Web Design + Illustration

The Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn was created from an agricultural barn on Staffordshire's Chillington Estate. The owners created an inspiring, multilayered world, both indoor and outdoor, for children to learn from and explore. Bolter's concept, which needed to appeal to adults as much as to children, centres on the gigantic oak tree in the middle of the play area. This was based on a local oak tree made famous for its role in harbouring a royal escapee. Colours and animated graphics are vibrant and distinctive, with references to the oak tree running throughout.
